Maddi is a princess. Seriously, but when I say "princess" I don't mean spoiled, I mean the super sweet kind she dreams in fairy tales type of girl. A huge Disney movie lover, Maddi is the epitome of the hopeless romantic and is just that super sweet and kind type of young woman that really embodies my memories of a "princess". At any moment I feel like this girl could bust out into song and any animals in the area will graciously land on her shoulder and join her in chorus. In fact, Maddi has been a princess legitimately for several of her high school years, often posing as Bell from Beauty and the Beast for children's parties. WHAT a cool job! She's also a fantastic dancer and a real smarty pants. Watch out everyone, this girl is going places!
For her shoot, Maddi really wanted something that felt romantic and natural and just really really pretty. Originally she'd asked me about a forest type of shoot, so after several days of really considering driving out to Arrowhead, I chickened out on the drive and remembered that Yorba Regional has some pockets of dense trees... and there you have it folks... the perfect location. We played in tall grasses, low bushes, thick tree forests and plenty of fox-tails until we had an absolutely gorgeous collection of images for Maddi's senior portraits! Thank you Bree, as always, for the most beautiful hair and makeup styling, and thank you Maddi for the gift of photographing YOU!!!
