Isn't Amber just as cute as a button? This girl loves bright colors and fun happy environments with lots of smiles and giggles and playfulness. For her Senior portraits, we had discussed getting balloons and playing in a field, but then we had also discussed fun editorial bright colored backgrounds.. since I couldn't pick... we did both!
I picked up Amber, looking insanely gorgeous, from Bree at the Grand a few days ago. My idea was to start with Amber's first look in a local canyon area, so this darling little thing put on her darling little white cotton dress and cowboy boots and off we went for some fun with rainbow colored balloons and gorgeous light. These turned out to by my favorite, although her editorial style colorful background photos are absolutely sensational as well.. how couldn't they be with such a beautiful little button of a girl! Post in-field balloon release, we journeyed down to Costa Mesa for one of the coolest, most colorful spots I know of called The Lab Anti-mall. It's a fabulous little local hang full of arty little shops and restaurants (Gypsy Den anyone?) and some fun hipster style chain stuff too, like Urban Outfitters and American Apparel. I've shot at the Lab once before several years ago, and every time I go to shop or for fun it's just a little bit different. The colors change and there is just so much art! LOVE! We had a fabulous time exploring the local shops, and playing with all the colorful spots and background options and Amber was just perfect! I love her shoot!! ENJOY friends!!
