Leslie is 100% fashionista. I'm pretty sure she's made of vintage lace and floral print silk. A Nordstrom Brass Plum Fashion Board member, Leslie wants to study something to do with fashion or marketing after high school. She has impeccable taste and a love of pretty much anything couture and girly. Ideally, her shoot would have taken place in a giant field of flowers (think Carlsbad flower fields which is closed for the summer). So the next best thing was a lovely botanical garden I adore called Sherman Library and Gardens. It's one of those places you drive past fairly regularly and then never stop in at unless someone tells you to go. Well let that someone be me, I'm telling you, at only $3 per person its totally worth the visit. Sherman Gardens is a quiet little garden located right off of PCH in Corona Del Mar and is filled year round with lovely flowers and is just so absolutely beautiful.. exactly like Leslie. We began our day in the garden, Leslie in a floral print dress, and then made our way into CDM's flower streets for some editorial style shots and then finally down to the water for some fun on the jetty at CDM.
Leslie's shoot is easily one of my favorites from this summer, and is filled with all sorts of high fashion poses, flower garden areas and of course playfulness in the sand! I loved everything about her location, her looks, her personality showing through.. just everything! Enjoy friends!!
