Kirsten is an athlete. Ask anyone, and they would likely agree and add in that she's a bit of a tom boy too. It's funny though because when I see Kirsten, I see a beautiful California blond who is a little shy (at first) behind the camera, but who really enjoys experimenting with fashion and styling... I think she's an undercover girlie girl! No matter, Kirsten rocked it on her shoot.
Because of Kirsten's love of hiking and climbing and fun outdoorsy stuff like that I wanted to take her somewhere close to the beach (her request) but that also gave us a real canyon and rocks and hiking sort of feel. Having had my wedding at an art gallery over in Laguna Canyon just a few months ago, I've been saving this location for months and Kirsten was the perfect Senior for the spot. Truly, perfect. I love that when we arrived Kirsten told me repeatedly that it was the perfect spot and that she loved it. I love that she felt incredibly beautiful after she left the Grand salon with Bree's amazing work. I love that she brought outfits that made her feel completely herself, that were comfortable and beautiful, and so fun. And I love that she was willing to try just about anything on her shoot; no hesitations, just a 'sure I'll try it' attitude! I really believe that to feel gorgeous in a breathtaking location is just the perfect setup for doing something like having photos taken. I am so pleased with everything about this shoot and am SO excited to show these to everyone! ENJOY!!
