Shania is what I like to call a rocker girl.. its not because she actually plays music (she does) but its because shes been to every concert for every cool band and already, at 17, has concert stories. I didn't have concert stories until I was in my 20's thank you very much, which just proves how much cooler Shania is then I am! She's way into music and is just a little bit anti anything that is super girlie. Dresses, heck tot he no! Heels, only for mom. Torn up jeans, a concert shirt and a leather jacket, ohhhh yessssss. For her shoot I knew right away that we needed gritty rough backgrounds in a cool city vibe sort of spot. Shania brought her guitar and I drove her to brick alleys and black staircase scaffolding. She even climbed a roof for some of these shots.. badass! Each look Shania brought was so her and so fun and cool, and I'm so excited about this shoot!
