Claire is gorgeous; very understated yet an absolutely beautiful young woman. She's arty and very smart, and one of the only Senior girls I've ever photographed who was incredibly reluctant to have photos taken for her Senior portraits. I'm sure she was like many who believe that Senior portraits are hyper traditional photos used in yearbooks with folded hands and blueish backdrops. It was my joy to introduce this photographer and arty young woman to a whole new genre of Senior work.
We had the best time playing with light, and experimenting with poses per my usual shoot, but even more, we were able to talk photo, which was super fun. Claire is a portrait artist in her own right, and well on her way to great success. I'm lucky to have had the opportunity to photograph Claire for her Senior year, and excited to see what her future holds as she graduates! Who knows.. maybe I just photographed the next Annie Leibovitz!
