Sydney LOVES Disneyland. She loves Disney movies, she loves Disney music, she loves Disney princesses. In fact, Syd was in my AP Photo class last year and did her entire concentration (a 12 piece, year long, student created body of work) on recreating modern versions of leading females in Disney movies. It turned out exquisite, almost as much so as Syndey. So when we started discussing her Senior portraits, and knowing how much Syd LOVES all things Disney, of course I wanted to take her to downtown Disney to get the Disney vibe and her love for it for her portraits. We explored all sorts of fun nooks and cranny's in Downtown and had a blast playing in the area, smelling that pipped in kettle corn smell, and negotiating the massive crowds as we made our way from end to end.
Bree did an absolutely sensational job on Syd, not that it was really that difficult, I mean, look at the canvas! But truly, her gorgeous long hair and sparkling eyes were so gorgeous in the perfect afternoon light we had! Sydney has a pretty awesome sense of personal style. She had mentioned a few months back that she wanted to wear overalls in her photos, and I thought cool I'm not so sure she'll find any but then Sydney whipped out a completely unique and handmade pair (thank you Aunti!) that were fabulous and fit her perfectly! I LOVE this shoot! So playful and fun and SUCH a gorgeous Senior! ENJOY!!
