Lora is a beautiful dancer. [I can say that with confidence because I've seen her dance! Ah-mazzzing!]. She's a sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs-in-the-middle-of-a-crowd personality. She's a smart smart girl. And she's a creative photographer in her own right. Plus, bonus... those eyes, right? Gorgeous!
After a visit to Bree's at the Grand in Brea, Lora, her mother, and I braved the OC traffic and made our way down to Costa Mesa's Segerstrom Performing Arts Center; the location I had pre-chosen for Lora's photoshoot. As a dancer and performing artist herself, it just seemed to me that a more refined and grand architectural area would suit this little beauty... and Sergerstrom was the perfect spot.We started out using the gorgeous lightbulb lined walkway between the buidings. It was the perfect blend of repetition, reflection, and grit. I loved this scene and Lora was a fabulous model. Total natural! In fact, the photo above is the very first shot of the day. The sweeping arches and artistic sculptural grandeur of the Segerstrom Center was absolutely magnificent and completely suited Lora's personality. She was so brave, absolutely willing to try anything!
Changing into a more dancerly look, we played and chatted and experimented with all sorts of areas in and around the arts structure and the result was fabulous. Lora is such a beautiful dancer. I loved her scenes. For our last set, Lora changed into the most amazing orange dress. I kinda want it! Love! We played a bit with light, and found a groeous deep red rust sculpture that suited her dress magnificently. It was a perfect day, and I'm so grateful to have had the pleasure to spend the orning with both Lora dn her sensational mother Melissa.
Ladies, thanks for a fantastic day! And Lora.. you're gonna kill it this year. I'm so excited for your Senior year and all that it entails! So many fun and exciting opportunities coming your way this year!! Every blessing!
