Last year I taught a zero period. I know, I'm crazy, but I did. In that class is where I met a cute little button of a personality and a truly stunningly gorgeous freckle faced Eva Mendez meets Selena Gomez lookalike.. Angelica. A few months into her Junior year, Angelica began looking for an internship that would meet some of her graduation requirements, and she approached me about interning with FLY. Of course I said yes, as this cool girl is incredibly respectful, capable, and hard working in class. I knew she would be a fantastic addition to my team.
Angelica was able to help on several different shoots this last year (her Junior year), and honestly, she was a total shoe-in for my 2013 reps. I'm so thrilled that she wanted to join the team!
We started our day with a visit to Bree, and then Aneglica's grandmother Deb joined us as we made our way down to Balboa Island. I wanted something fun and flirty and sweet for Angelica. She's a rare teen these days.. totally wholesome and sweet sweet sweet... so.. sweets was our mission. Can you believe Angelica's dad helped her with her looks? Adorable!
We wandered Balboa, chatted about life and had a grand time dodging homeowners as we invaded their alley ways and garage doors (everyone was really cool though). Our last stop was to the Balboa Island Candy Shop. I loved Angelica's polka dot dress and red red lips. Darling. Our shoot was so much fun, and I'm sure a little strange for Angelica to finally be on the other side of the camera and not holding a reflector!
Thanks to Angelica and to Deb for such an incredible day! You are both incredible! And to my little intern- blessings this year. I know you will do great things!!!
