One of the best bonus parts of marriage is my husband's family. I'm so lucky that I not only like Fabio's mom, dad, brother and sister, but I love them. All of them. Not that many women can honestly say that, but it is completely true for me.. serious bonus! So, when Naomi needed headshots, of course I volunteered for the job (as if she'd choose anyone else!)! A trip to see Bree at the Grand, and an hour and a half later we were eating lunch at my favorite hang, Rialto Cafe in downtown Fullerton. A madras salad later, and we were off for a fun day of headshots and portraits. The Fullerton loop is in full bloom right now, and Naomi loves purple, so the wildflowers in this natural part of my city was absolutely the perfect spot for us to begin our day. Naomi is a really playful and fun-loving person, and I felt that to truly capture her personality, I needed to keep it light and fun and just have an easy going and care-free photo shoot. Success!
Post loop, we had to try some of my favorite style backgrounds: gritty, modern and edgy. Naomi put on a super cool tribal print maxi dress and we walked the streets of Fullerton and braved some very strange smells in back alleys. In the end, we came out with a fabulous set of images that I feel are truly my sissy. I love her so and am excited to see my work all over Mama Spinella's house on our next family dinner!!
