After a fabulous visit with Bree at the Grand for hair and makeup styling, I picked up Jordan (ooooing and aweing at Bree's work!) and along with my fantastic intern Katy, headed down to Huntington Beach. Before we even began shooting Jordan's Senior session, the car was filled with all sorts of fun conversation, music, and laughter. It was a gorgeous day out, and I knew we were going to get some really beautiful shots.. of course it helps when you have a truly beautiful model to work with! Jordan's style is somewhere where pop meets country. That's the best way I can think to describe it. She's super chill and down to earth and yet still hip and cool and fun; never letting much of the typical high school drama get to her. Jordan loves to shop at all sorts of fun spots, especially Urban Outfitters, but also loves the beach. So for her shoot, I decided we needed to do some Huntington Beach Maine street shopping back alleys and then play on the water later in the day. It was perfect. It just so happened that we were down in Huntington a day before the US Open began, so the city was bustling and busy and just so much fun!
Jordan brought a few fun options for her wardrobe looks and we just had a fabulous time talking about what our dream homes would all look like, what we spend money on (for Jordan its anything Coach, she's obsessed!), and of course the topic that always arises: boys. SO fun! It was a gorgeous day with a gorgeous girl and we have gorgeous photos to boot! Great success!
